Your Sail & Sign card is your casino player card. Carnival doesn’t issue a separate Players Club card. Every time you insert your Sail & Sign card into a slot machine or present it to a table game dealer, your play gets tracked and credited to your unique Player ID number, which carries over from cruise to cruise even though your physical card changes each sailing.

For slot players, the process is straightforward: insert your Sail & Sign card before you start playing and leave it in while you play. Winnings go into your Player Bank, a personal account you access directly on the machine. When you’re done playing at that machine, cash out to your Player Bank, and retrieve those funds from another machine or at the Casino Cashier’s Desk. The casino operates on a completely coinless system, so there are no coins or tickets involved.

For table game players, present your card to the dealer at the beginning of each session to get rated. Getting rated means Carnival is tracking the duration and level of your play, which determines what comps you’re eligible for. The Carnival Players Club’s comp system isn’t published with clear tier thresholds, as many land-based casinos are, but the general structure is that your level of play determines what you’re offered. Comps can include complimentary drinks while you play, spa treatments, logo merchandise, invitations to the steakhouse, wine delivered to your dining table, and, depending on your play level, invitations to special onboard events.

The most accessible comp is the Drinks On Us card, which slot players can earn by reaching a specific point threshold during a single voyage departing from a North American port. Once you earn it, drinks are covered while you’re playing. Ask the casino host early in your sailing about the current threshold for your specific cruise, since it can vary.

For table players, comps are discussed directly with the Casino Host, who evaluates your play and extends offers accordingly. Sea days are when the casino runs its most active promotions. Slot tournaments, free play promotions, and special drawings tend to cluster on sea days when passenger traffic is highest and the casino has the most time to run extended events. Showing up on the first sea day and checking in with the Casino Host rather than waiting until later in the cruise gives you the most time to take advantage of anything running that week.
