Episode 8 — Cruising with Kids from Across the Region

Camp Ocean (Free, Ages 2–11)

• Three age groups: Penguins (2–5), Stingrays (6–8), Sharks (9–11)
• Free and included in cruise fare
• Sea day hours: 10 AM–5 PM and 7 PM–10 PM (check Hub app for port day hours)
• Activities: arts and crafts, video games, sports, science experiments, scavenger hunts, movies, dancing
• Dr. Seuss Seuss-a-palooza: parade, story time with Cat in the Hat, themed character breakfasts — free
• NASA Space Cruisers: space-themed activities, Mars rover building — free
• Pre-registration required: opens 14 days before sailing at Carnival.com under Manage My Booking
• Open house on embarkation day — attend with kids to see spaces and meet staff

Tweens & Teens (Free)

• Circle C — ages 12–14: dedicated space, video games, crafts, scavenger hunts, activities
• Club O2 — ages 15–17: teen programming, dances, parties, games
• Both free and included in cruise fare

Night Owls & Additional Programs

• Night Owls: ages 6 months–11 years, 10 PM–1 AM nightly, $9.00/hour per child including 20% service charge
• Owl Jams: select evenings, $20.40 per child per event including service charge
• Turtles: supervised programming for infants/toddlers under 2 — paid drop-off available on port days; check Hub app for current fees and times

What Parents Need to Do

• Register kids online at Carnival.com 14 days before sailing (Youth Registration under Manage My Booking)
• Attend the Camp Ocean open house on embarkation day
• Kids 12 and under receive wristbands from Camp Ocean staff — must be worn the entire cruise
• Get the Carnival Hub app family chat feature — message your group shipwide without using your phone plan
• Check Hub app daily for kids’ program schedules, especially on port days

Family Features on the Ships

• WaterWorks aqua park — on both the Breeze and the Jubilee
• BOLT roller coaster — Jubilee only, height requirement applies
• Driving advantage: no airline bag limits, bring car seat, stroller, sunscreen, snacks freely
